What are you hoping as a result of the 2010 election?
I’m hoping that Democrats are thrown out of every office — even those not up for reelection — and the Democrats are removed from the Book of Memories and never spoken of every again.
What do you think will happen?
I think we’ll have another stimulus that will fund the draining of the Pacific, thus supplying Rahm Emmanuel with countless dead fish to have couriered here and there.
Our country is always going to have a two-party system, so the question is what party will emerge to gobble up the immature, stupid, angry and entitled vote, if the Democrats are discredited. I think the libertarians are best positioned to stage a takeover. Their platform has a natural appeal to 18-30 year olds and they’ve got the whole angry, countercultural thing going for them. With Republicans versus Libertarians, it’d be back like in the early days with the Hamiltonians and Jeffersonians.
However, the problem is with the libertarian party’s marketing. They often promote themselves as a conservative third party, a spoiler to Republican elections, which means current Democrats would be unlikely to switch to the LP. I recommend that Bob Barr or whoever’s running the LP these days change your messaging. Stop talking about the flat tax and free enterprise, and stress the things you and the Dems agree on: killing babies, smoking pot, and dodging the draft and such.
I’m hoping Fred Thompson runs in the New York Senate elections, and wins both seats.
Step I: I’m waiting to see if the good people of Massachusetts can find their hiney with both hands when replacing Kennedy (who murdered a woman). I would like to start liking Northeasterners–it would make my life easier. I hope they act right, so we don’t have to Open a Can on everyone we know from Mass–that’s a lot of effort.
I’m thinking that Republicans and Dumocrats are going to run on whatever platform they think is going to get them elected (with some exceptions), and then when they get to Washington, are going to do whatever the Obama Voter they want… as usual. At least that’s what I think.
As for what I’m hoping, I hope when every corrupt politician gets back to their district, we sensible constituents tar and feather them, run them out of town on a rail, and finally contact recovery.org to report a job not saved by the Obama administration.
I hope Chuck Schumer goes outside and melts.

If the Republicans do not totally maim, slaughter, eviscerate, emasculate and massacre the Dimocrats this year, I’ll be very angry withthem, and personally blame RNC head Steele for the wimpy finish. Is that racist of me?

I hope for extremely unrecoverable deadlock in congress that results in nothing being done but yelling at each other for at least the next 8 years. It would be nice to have a break from the bozos for a while.

I think that the Republicans that get elected will quickly cave to the onslaught of Industrial Media Complex’s attacks on them, and The Socialist Agenda will continue,

What happened to Steele I was very impressed with him in his close race in Maryland. Even when the local American-Africans kept throwing Oreo cookies at him. Judging by his waste-line their slow-motion assassination plan via over-consumption of saturated fats seems to be taking hold.

Other than that, I hope the TEA Partyers storm the Capitol (led by SarahP and TehFred), toss every socialist in this country across the Pond, build an alligator-infested moat to keep out the assorted leeches and freeloaders, tax the citizens no more than 5% of income to be used ONLY on national/border defense and infrastructure, and rebuild a self-sufficient, hard-working, high standards 100% self-employed America as the Founders intended.
I hope the Democrats are forced to wander in the desert for 40 years. And the liberal Republicans? They have to get them water. The moderate Republicans? Them, too. Which means no change. Except for the wandering in the desert part.
I hope the Democrats are kicked out of office, and then a new law is passed wherefor all those who have stood against America and with the Islamofascists get immediately waterboarded and then sent to the moon.
I hope we pass a law that requires Union Folk to wear their fancy colored t-shirts whenever they leave the house. Not just at political events, but at the grocery store, the bank, Six Flags, parent pick-up, and everywhere else they go. After all, they are the best among us. We should all be able to recognize them when they are in the middle of a crowd of us so we can all give them the thanks they deserve.
The “Don’t be Shy, Union Guy” act of 2010 will go a long way toward healing the nation.
This is unrelated, but before we send money to Haiti, I hope we send Buck the Marine and all of his friends down there to kill the bad Haitian dictators and communists so they don’t take all of our money and spend it on surplus Russian rifles.

Advice to all Republican candidates: win by at least 10%, so they can’t steal the election in the re-count.
My prediction is that
1) Nancy Pelosi will have an alergic reaction on camera. The heat generated by the reaction will melt her face like the Nazis on Raiders of the Lost Arc.
2) George Lucas will go back to only producing movies, allowing him to make his first decent movie in 20 years.
3) A democratic congressman will send inapropriate emails to multiple underage pages. The White House, ACLU, and Democraticly controlled children’s charities will all come out for the congressman and explain how this is sooo diffrent from Mark Folley.
4) Mark Folley will finaly get his come-upins. As far as I know, he still hasn’t got kicked in the nads for sending inappropriate emails to minors.
5) China will surpass the United States as the largest economy. Economist around the world will praise China’s Economic model as the standard for doing buisiness in the 21 century.
6) less than a month later, China’s Government and economy will colapse on it’s self due to the fact they were using the same model for economic growth that Fanny May was pushing for a decade but for the entire country.
I’m hoping there will be dinosaurs with rocket-launchers involved.

Some of those offices are on the ground floor, and the Democrat is certain to survive.
What do I hope will happen is not nearly the same thing as what I think will happen. Nothing that is actually possible fits any of my hopes. So what I think will happen is the same thing that’s already happening. Slippery slope arguments don’t seem to do much good when you’re not trying to change course.
