Can’t believe Olympia Snowe is suddenly retiring after all those years of working hard for the causes of blah and meh.

You could train a dog to be a mediocre senator; it just needs to vote yes and no. But it would be loyal.

How hard should it be to find another blah moderate Republican who will excite absolutely no one?

They need to do a darker, grittier remake of The Sound of Music.

At least if Romney wins the nomination now, we’ll feel that he really worked for it at least.

So can we maybe wrap this farce up next Tuesday then?

I’m so excited for Super Tuesday because then it will be only one more day until the iPad 3 announcement.

So what does Moot Gingrich have to say about this? Ha! Been holding onto that one for a while.

The proper response to anyone talking about the 99% or the 1% is a punch to the face followed by a, “Shut up, hippie!”

Sorry to hear that you are so unexcited about Romney. Though, after watching his speech last night, I do not blame you.

Perhaps you should consider another candidate. One who can get people excited. One who can really connect with his audience. One who can truly inspire, with a compelling vision for America.

Maybe this guy? He seems pretty good at it.

  2. Or maybe they could have the lead roles played by actors who have played notable villains — like having Captain Von Trapp played by that guy who did the lead Klingon villain, General Chang, from “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.”

  3. @MFL: I didn’t know you were a Ron Paul supporter, but I guess it makes sense that you’d like a candidate who can positively mesmerize his audience into being crazy about him. “Eleventy in ’12” is a great campaign slogan, no?

  4. Been following this blog for a little while, but I’m more of a lurker than a comment-er. (I have bought your books though, so you can count on me for financial support. I mean, we cannot allow Buttercup to run out of hats!)

I haven’t heard anyone talk about what’s going on in Texas. We were supposed to vote on Super Tuesday, but now they’ve pushed it back to the end of May with the possibility of pushing it back even further. What’s up with that?

“The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of Conservatives is to prevent mistakes from being corrected. Even when the revolutionist might himself repent of his revolution, the traditionalist is already defending it as part of his tradition. Thus we have two great types — the advanced person who rushes us into ruin, and the retrospective person who admires the ruins. He admires them especially by moonlight, not to say moonshine. Each new blunder of the progressive or prig becomes instantly a legend of immemorial antiquity for the snob. This is called the balance, or mutual check, in our Constitution.”

The talking heads on the TV box keep saying Rick Santorum is “out of the Main Stream”.
Have you looked at the “Main Stream” lately?
There are some nasty things floating in that stream, and it’s flowing in the wrong direction!
