It’s Monday night! Don’t look at that like it’s a bad thing. You see, that Monday at work? It’s over. Behind you. Done. In the past.
Oh, and in less than 96 hours, it’ll be Friday night and the beginning of the weekend.
So, it’s a mix of happy and sad. And that made me think of this:
The topic, or topics, discussed tonight are entirely up to you. Tell a joke, make up a lie, share your darkest secret, whatever you like. It’s Monday Night Open Thread.
Who wants to start?

Didn’t Happy Days start as a part of Love American Style?
Yes, it did. The episode was “Love and the Television” (changed to “Love and the Happy Days” for syndication). Garry Marshall couldn’t get a network to pick up the pilot, but it was adapted into an episode of ABC’s Love American Style. After American Graffiti (also starring Ron Howard) was a hit at the box office, ABC decided to pick it up after all. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0637037/
TV shows made in the 1950s have aged better than shows made in the 1970s but set in the 1950s. Go figure.
Erin Moran of Happy Days is dead.
Ella Fitzgerald was born one-hundred years ago today. Go to youtube to sample some of her extraordinary singing of wonderful songs.
Pretty good tune from a pretty lousy movie… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrR6Ni3ENf0
