Used to be, you could keep a child entertained for hours with a chicken feather and a dab of syrup on its fingers. Of course, you needed to have a chicken feather. Which meant chickens. Oh, and you needed syrup, too.
It worked, though.
However, I don’t have any chickens. I have some syrup, but that’s not enough to keep you entertained, I’m sure.

The worst part of the story? That’s not the worst thing you usually find at Walmart.
As we head into the last days before Mystery Science Theater 3000 returns, let’s take some time and think about the older series. There were 199 episodes, counting the KTMA season and the movie, but not the pilot/promo. But, for our purposes, we’ll not count the pilot/promo nor the KTMA season, okay?
So, here’s today’s question: What was your least favorite episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000?
For me, it’s either The Robot vs the Aztec Mummy or The Mad Monster. I think it’s the pacing of those early episodes that kinda make them least favorites.
Yeah, I know Harvey said he’s “on vacation” but you don’t believe that any more than I do.
We’ve called around different places and we can’t find Harvey anywhere. I called Disney World — (407) 939-5277 — and they said he wasn’t there.
I called the White House — (202) 456-1414 — and he’s not been there.
I even called the Walmart store across from the mall in Savannah — (912) 344-9664 — and he wasn’t there either.
I’m out of places to call. So, you got any ideas?
Having spent some time in South Korea, up near the DMZ, I recall how totally unreal the situation was. The awareness that the situation could develop into shooting at any time made it an interesting year. And that was with Kim Jong-un’s relatively sane grandfather in charge.
