  1. Oh, there’s some racial bias in this story. A white student causing alarm and despondency by carrying a close likeness of a weapon of unimaginable violent potential, outside of the art lab, out in public where its threatening appearance could so easily be misconstrued (seriously, who walks around campus with glue guns? They have electrical cords, they are not portable), would have been arrested, suspended, tried before a kangaroo court, and expelled for assaulting the university’s safe spaces with violent imagery. And someone would have punched him in his fascist face on the way out, because gun imagery = hate imagery. The black kid? Racially profiled Victim for Life! Score!! The university will be apologizing to him, and to the entire African American community, and to all other racial minorities, and to women, and to Muslims, and to the LGBTQ community, and to pretty much everyone who isn’t a white Christian male, until the end of time. That’s not who we are!
