Since I was a teenager I’ve liked old radio shows 30+ years older than I was. Here’s a good site to listen to shows for free.

Wow, that takes me back! UnRep is really cool and it’s amazing how they figured out the ways to do all that. The drawback to an UnRep when you’re taking on JP5 is that for a couple days after you smell like jet fuel when you get out of the shower. That is if you’re lucky to get one. There could be no water pressure or negative pressure. Ice cold water or steam coming out of the nozzle. It was the exception when you had a nice normal shower.
Samuel Adams, an important figure in the American Revolution and, as far as I know, the only one of his colleagues to give his name to a brewery, was born September 27, 1722. Have a beer today in his honor.
And, like Basil, I like music written a long time ago. I frequently tell people that I’m an eighties kind of guy. When people ask what my favorite pieces are, I name symphonies, operas, string quartets, etc., by Mozart and Haydn, because I mean the 1780s.
