Harry Reid is apparently now taking credit for helping win the war. So by doing stuff like this, he was actually helping. By calling Petraeus a liar who couldn’t be trusted, he was supporting him. Wow; glad we got Reid on our side then.
Really, though, Reid could show up to the Capitol without pants and he wouldn’t be anymore of an embarrassment.

EVENTUALLY the people of Nevada consider Reid sufficiently embarassing to throw him out no matter how much power he holds, given his lack of crediblity.
There is talk that Republicans may push for a moderate democrat as speaker to unseat Pelosi by joining with moderate democrats who have been shut out by the hard left leadership. Since a vote for a republican speaker is entirely wasted, I would DEARLY LOVE for Pelosi (and in a perfect world, something similar in the Senate) to be smacked out of the leadership position. I would dearly love for Republicans and moderate Democrats to unseat the Koszier than thou frothing class from the congressional leadership, just in time for the hard-left executive branch to be sworn in.
America really needs adults to run the government, instead of running for cover from the coked-out Left.

I’m not normally cynical but this last election reminded me that there are a lot of greedy, crazy, stupid people out there and a bunch of them are in my party… again…

–Clinton’s moral dipstick was bone dry and he was still reelected with 49%.
–Hopey McChangerson could be worse and still get reelected. The people that voted for him desperately want him to succeed because he’s black, a Marxist, or both. And, once in power, the illegal campaign contributions will flow in unabated giving him a billion dollars with which to campaign.
–Unless he is caught with a dead girl or a live boy, he’ll be tough to unseat.
–The moonstream media is biased toward him. Just as they made up bad stuff about Bush during Rathergate, they’ll fabricate good stuff about Hopey if necessary. He’s already the “greatest” president ever and he hasn’t been sworn in.
–Besides, if the Republican Party does not tell the Rockefeller Wing to shut it’s cake hole and step aside, they may nominate another RINO.
–Buy guns and ammo while you are still free to do so because Hopey is no friend of freedom.

How many years has Reid been a senator… but only now he becomes so concerned with corruption that he won’t let the appointee of a corrupt governor into the Senate?
The only thing that’ll top that is if he refuses to let Franken in. Then I’ll start with the “who are you and what have you done with Harry Reid?”
Oh, and Nevada’s problem is that it’s within easy driving distance of California and actually has a bit of an economy. The parasites are starting to spread to neighboring states. I just hope they don’t get to Utah.
If South Dakota could put a lit match to the bloated tick that was Senator Tom Daschle in 2004, there’s still hope for Nevada.
Of course, Tommy’s baa-aack as that ones nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services. His Wickepedia entry reads like a who’s who of lobbiests and special interest groups but he Is out of the Senate.
If Reid ever Did get his walking papers from Arizona I don’t suppose he’d do the dignified thing and just fade away.
Dems rarely do. Look at Ted Kennedy – he can’t let it go. Or Bill and Hillary.

Skelitor was only elected once..mainly on the strength of transplants from the Poeples’ Republic of California, illegal aliens (who have taken over most of the casino work, especially in Vegas) and, of course, the Democrat Plan 9…the raising of the dead around election time. I can understand your confusion though…those of us in Nevada feel as though he’s been in office for eternity, and can’t wait to get him out.
I think he’s trying to look butch for the new stud( or is that dud) in town. The dems are going to fall into apoplexy before the coronation if they’re not careful.

My solution for your senator in question is to have ussjimmycarter drive his Nash to D.C. and hook Reid to a rope attached to the Nash’s bumper and than drive (drag) him all the way to Nevada and drop him off. I’m sure ussjc would enjoy the drive. Reid, not so much.
