Question of the Day

Should anyone who ever supported John Edwards have their voting rights revoked? It’s a free country, and we don’t like removing the voting rights of anyone other than felons, but it would seem that anyone who ever supported the blatantly slimy and phony John Edwards is nothing but a danger to him or herself and others when handed a vote. It basically shows the judgment of someone who randomly picks things off the ground and puts them in his mouth.

What do you think?

  1. 1.) They need to go have a full psychiatric workup, to determine if there is an organic cause of their dangerous insanity.

2.) Then regardless of the diagnosis……deportation.

I’m sorry…there is NO possibility of any civic rehabilitation or any potentuial future value for anyone who voted for Edwards.

  2. I say take all hippie, liberal, pinko, socialist, commies votes away. Only conservative should be allowed to vote. The hippie, liberal, pinko, socialist, commies have proven time and time again they can’t handel voting.

  3. Frank, you haven’t gone far enough. Yes, the people who actually voted for him should be taken out of the democratic process (and perhaps out of the gene pool as well), I agree.

But I think the more important question is: what punishment/precaution/remedial action is severe enough for someone who picks an oleaginous wee-wee like this to be a VP nominee?

I invite suggestions from others, as well.

  4. It basically shows the judgment of someone who randomly picks things off the ground and puts them in his mouth.

Well mostly toddlers and infants randomly put things in their mouths. The fortunate things about toddlers and infants is that they have the capacity to learn. edwards voters have already proven brain damage beyond repair, therfore they should be relegated to drawing with crayons and watching oprah.

  5. If we don’t like taking away voting rights of anyone other than felons, then, can we convict them of felony stupidity?
Perhaps we could cure them with electric shock therapy. Don’t taze me, Bro!

  6. When I asked a Dem co-worker who he supported in the Iowa caucuses,
he said, “John Edwards, because he’s for the people, not the corporations.”
“What about the people who work for the corporations?”, I asked.

    Still no reply.

He’s never discussed politics with me again.
    WIN.

  7. I hate to point this out, because our wonderful system of government education indoctrination teaches differently, but there is no Constitutional right to vote. Some states have a “right to vote,” but no Constitutional right.

    “The more you know…”

  8. This certainly opens up a can of worms, doesn’t it? People who voted for Obama should be locked up for their safety and the public’s safety. People who have more than one kid and are on Welfare should be sterilized. People who are stupid should be put on a Carnival Cruise and taken to a distant land, etc, etc, etc. Too bad the world doesn’t work that way. We are stuck with the idiots who voted for Obama, Edwards and all government officials until the next election. Of course, in “my perfect planet,” I would just put them in front of the firing squad.

  9. We have to take and pass 2 separate exams for our privilege to drive but only have to place a mark on a paper for the privilege to vote? Since any hippie rat basterd can do that, we should make them take tests. If they fail, we get to shoot ’em.
