Hey – where’s the MST3K Question of the Day?
Yeah! Hey, we were having fun.
And who’s going to write the next “IMAO For NERDS!” column? DamnCat?
Sorry, I’m not a nerd – I’m a hep cat.
I’ve asked Basil to keep making open thread posts. If you want more “IMAO for NERDS”, make a request in the comments there and he will read your message.
Whether he acts on it…
I’m not saying I won’t act on it. I’m so behind on so many other things, and so disorganized (how I got behind to start with) that I hate to make a promise I won’t be able to keep.
I may set up an email address for IMAO Nerds to submit something, but I’m not sure when I’ll be able to work that in. I do like the idea. I just don’t know when work, travel (work-related), and everything else will let my brain cope.
Of course, on the Open Threads, you can submit your nerdness, until such time as a separate, regular column is worked in.
By the Prophets beard…she turns me on.
I knew a man that had worked in Saudi Arabia for 8 years. He told an interesting story. Girls in SA (prepubescent females) don’t wear burkas. It’s only once they start menstruating that they have to start wearing it in public. So one day, he’s sitting somewhere and observes several girls across the street walking along, and then into a shop. They were dressed about what we’d expect, shorts, t-shirts. There were several Saudi men hanging about as well, and they didn’t react to the girls at all. Then the girls came back out, but one of them was now in the full, covered from head to toe, burka. And then all the SA men were yelling and cat-calling to her.
Skin tight “pants?” Those are not pants. They are leggings. Leggings aren’t pants. They are long underwear.
