Their other option: dumping the lunches the kids refuse to eat on Michelle’s front lawn.

  1. I’ve said for years that the majority of traffic laws should be unenforceable except in the event of an altercation. There’s no reason that a failure to yield at a stop sign should be ticketable if there is no one else at the intersection. However, if failing to yield at that stop sign causes another driver to alter their course, or get hit, then the failure to yield should be ticketable, and full responsibility falls on that driver for any injuries or damage. But, then “revenues to the department” would fall… Of course, less police officers would be needed for traffic enforcement, too…
