I love me a movie twist.
For instance, the twists at the end of Planet of the Apes, The Usual Suspects, The Sixth Sense, and such either change the whole film, or provide a shocking twist on another shocking element (such as in The Sting).
Sometimes, though, the twist isn’t enough, as this video adequately explains.
Oh, SPOILERS!
I actually liked a couple of these. Well, maybe one. Maybe two. And I’m not sure if they left out Sleepaway Camp because they though the twist saved the film, or if they forgot about it, or if they just didn’t think it’s enough of a twist. It’s enough of a twist. And it doesn’t save the film. They just forgot about it.
No surprise what comes next, though. It’s Friday Night Open Thread. Time for you to offer your twist on things.
Who wants to start?

Okay you asked for it! Here’s my favorite twist…
Speaking of twists, I consider it an,act,of criminal negligence that Chubby Checker is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I did not know that he wasn’t in the R&R Hall Of Fame and I completely agree with you.
And when you get tired of the Twist you can always Boogie for a bit…
Edward Hopper, the man who painted Nighthawks, one of the three paintings by Americans that most Americans will recognize (along with Arrangement in Grey and Black No. 1 by James McNeill Whistler and American Gothic by Grant Wood), was born July 22, 1882.
