BIDEN: …but, seriously, it’s such a good feeling to be in the presence of a whole room full of fellow Catholics. Ya know, back when I served as an alter boy shortly after my family had moved from Pennsylvania to Delaware, I met the most amazing priest. He was a big ol’ mick named Father Riley, and he liked to drink, like most Irish do. And, we’d sit beneath the giant stained glass window in the beautiful St. Bernard’s Cathedral after he’d had a few too many glasses of sacramental wine, looking up at this beautiful image of Jesus with his arms outstretched holding a crucifix. And, together we’d say the Lord’s Prayer, “Only love can bring the rain that makes you yearn to the sky. Only love can bring the rain that falls like tears from on high. Love reign o’er me. Love reign o’er me.” Such a beautiful prayer. And, Father Riley would always tell me the same thing. He’d say, “Joseph, no matter what you do in life, never interfere with a woman’s right to choose what she wants to do with her own body. That’s the Catholic way.” And, I’ve never forgotten those wonderful, inspirational words, spoken in that beautiful, Irish brogue. He was such a wonderful man, with soft, gentle hands…
This has been a moment with Joe Biden.

To print ENOUGH TRILLIONS—he’s no dope,
Right? It would take a “miracle”…of sorts.
Maybe we should “just vote Him back in”?
Now, there’s real POWER anyone can see—
God’s creations will now “switch places”!
We’ll just vote Him back in—you and me,
Oh, “THE WON”—He’s our TRUE Deity,
Right? HE has to make this decision!
I’m glad we had this conversation!
For “convenience” we’ll keep God in this nation!

Why do I suspect that Joe Biden was one of those stinky (literally) Catholic kids with a dirty face, runny nose and old clothes from a “tough blue collar parish” that used to pick fights at eight years-old and get the crap kicked out of him every time?

Speaking as a Catholic I am offended that Joe Biden is one too it degrades us all.
Faith, and ya brought tears of mirth and roaring laughter to this big Mick! Signum Crucis, it’s another fifteen minutes in purgatory for appreciating the deprecating humor of that. Nice cite from Quadrophenia (not Baba O’Reilly), though ’tis an altar from which a priest would seek to alter the congregants’ sinful inclinations.
@ Giovanni….no worries friend, it’s more of a case of our Catholicism serving to elevate were Biden to be a true, and humble, adherant to the Faith. Still, God Almighty does give gentle treatment to the organically slow, never impeding their ascent to the heights of their limited capabilities. In Biden’s case, he was blessed with the gift of unintended humor which he, with an endless generosity, never ceases to share with his fellow man. Bless his heart.

Giovanni, if the Catholic Church wants to be taken seriously, they need to do some excommunicating, starting with the entire Kennedy family, Pelosi, Biden, any pol, of any party who says they are a Catholic, but votes for abortion, any priest who is a pedophile, etc.
