20/20 on Guns

So did 20/20 really do a show on whether you can defend yourself with guns? What’s next, a show on whether you can get yourself places with cars? I can just imagine that hatchet job:

“Our volunteer to try using a car ended up taking a wrong turn, and do to the faster speed of the car versus walking, he quickly ended up even further away from his destination than when he started. So he ended up worse off with the car than if he had no car at all.”

These shows are exactly why it’s a bloggers job to make sure traditional journalists lose their jobs and end up living on the street in boxes and then we poke holes in those boxes so they get rained on.

Maybe we could do an exposé on whether journalists make you less informed about the news and should be banned.

  1. These shows are exactly why it’s a bloggers job to make sure traditional journalists lose their jobs and end up living on the street in boxes and then we poke holes in those boxes so they get rained on.

and then we spit on them, hit them with sticks, and call them names.

  2. With over 190,000 annual deaths by medical mistakes in the US, I think we’d be better off without healthcare. That’s nearly seven, eight times the number of firearm deaths. Down with doctors! Down with healthcare! Obama is trying to kill you by forcing you onto healthcare!

  3. How about IMAO does its own own slanted expose’, on how guns make you more attractive to hot women.

“In our yearlong study at several locations across the US, we found that attractive women preferred men who carried weapons than whine tit journalist that who were seen by these attractive women as parasites on society. Also guns were also a deterrent to women who refused to shave and smelled of raw cabbage.”

  4. Traditional media is going under because of brainless crap like this. They thought they had a captive audience who would listen to illogical garbage forever and now they are learning the truth a little too late.

  5. “…on the next 20/20: Why didn’t 47% of voters vote for Barack Obama, who are they?
Dr. Timothy Johnson tells us how soon the FDA will approve the newest food supplement, ‘Soylent Green’, and Elizabeth Vargas details the EPA’s modest proposal to reduce exhaled CO2 by 47%, …”

  6. I’ve only ever had to draw my pistol once (so far).
The fellow I drew down on was arrested, no shots fired, no one got hurt, and of course, it never made it into the news.
The 5 people that chap was menacing with a .357 magnum are probably glad I was in the right place at the right time with the right tools and training, but 20/20 would probably dismiss the incident as ‘statistically insignificant’.

  7. Since our former governor Kathleen Spend-a-lot-us is now up to her chicken neck in the O’vomit administration, (I hope she wipes off her shoes before she goes home-ewueeeeeeeeeeeee) I’m waiting for the first Gitmo detainee to land in Oz. That is the day I buy my very first handgun and apply for a concealed carry permit. If they should ask me why I’m buying said weapon I will truthfully say that I do not believe my government is capable of protecting me, my family or my property.

And should one of these “terrorists” make it out on bail and start anything in my neck of the woods it would be my honor to hasten them to their reward. Of course eternity with 72 virgin goats isn’t anything I’m looking forward to but then again my God doesn’t have to bribe his followers with sex. He has other more elevated, spiritual things on His mind. That’s why He’s God.

  8. Since possessing a gun is such a clear impediment to your safety and well-being, most especially when set against an adversary, I think it is evident that we should hand out firearms to criminals.

Imagine a man has just walked into a bank intending to rob it, but, having foolishly accepted a gun from the Free Guns for Criminals Program, the patrons of the bank immediately grab the gun and turn it on the robber. Or perhaps he will shoot himself on accident when Mrs. Baker swings her purse at him. Who knows?

The point basic point is that, having a gun, he will be unable to effectively defend himself, and thus he will quietly succumb to those noble citizens who had the common foresight not-to-be-armed.

  9. It’s hard for schools to train real journalists when the places are all staffed with full time DNC staffers.
The profession dies when the schools started teaching “agenda journalism”.
