So the Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day had such a huge turnout that even liberals couldn’t ignore it. It was pretty surprising even to me, but Americans respond strongly to attacks on freedom of speech and freedom of religion. The pro-gay marriage people have just gotten out of control. They like to label everyone against them as hateful bigots because then it justifies any of their actions — including pure-out fascism as they start to put a religious test on starting a business. They have way overstepped themselves, and it’s starting to become more apparent who the angry bigots are who can’t tolerate any dissension from their worldview. And it’s also become apparent which side has better chicken sandwiches.
Anyway, the left may get gay marriage accepted most places one day, but they need to give up this ridiculous fantasy that support for traditional marriage is ever going to go away. It’s like how promiscuity is much more accepted now in society, but even though society changed on that, Christianity still clearly teaches against it. And a thousand years from now, it still will.
Similarly, the Bible is pretty clear on what God considers a marriage to be and that is not going to change. Christianity has been around for thousands of years through great oppression and violence, and gay marriage is not going to be the thing that does it in. So if some people think they can bully certain religious opinions away, they’re in for a rude awakening. And if they go after our freedom of speech and religion while also threatening one of our favorite fried foods, then they’ve unleashed hell.
