Bad News

I just go on a a week long hiatus (thank you to Laurence Simon for filling in some of that dead air with his Blog A Day tour), and I find now that Rachel Lucas is on an indefinite one. She’s definitely one of the top ten bloggers out there, and will be greatly missed (especially be me).
I will have a Rumsfeld post on Wednesday, but I probably won’t have time to write something before then. To compensate, though, Bill Whittle has a new essay out. As usual, it’s good beyond my ability at prose to describe it, so check it now.
Also, the debate continues to rage about whether to bomb france. Remember, IMAO is your number one google hit for “bomb france”.

  1. Rachel’s hiatus – very upsetting – she’s one of my favorite lunch-time entertainments.
France – although bombing it is but a pipe-dream, I’ve personally boycotted French products (ie, wine – although that’s not too much of a sacrifice – I prefer Italian & Australian).

  2. Talking of pipe-dreams, we’ve a great pipe into northern France. Feel free to use our south coast as an unsinkable aircraft carrier anytime.
Would love to see the Eiffel Tower in ‘bombcam’.
Remember to give them 10 years notice of your arrival so they can build loads of bunkers and emplacements in totally the wrong place.

  3. Good news all. Bomb France T-shirts are now available from http://www.warshirts.com. Wearing a “Bomb France” T-shirt 24/7 is a basic patriotic duty. Dissemination of this wonderful idea should lead to America finally achieving this milestone to true greatness and the aspirations of generations of our military, the much deserved bombing of France.
