I remember my parents owned Love at the Greek on video disc. My parents tell me when I was five I believed Mr. Diamond was the first man to set foot on the moon. God bless Neil Diamond.
I always wondered HOW the &$##& Van Morrison & Jackson Browne, et. al., made it in to the R&R HOF ahead of Neil. They were good artists & all, but comparing their bodies of work to Neil’s? Not even close. And I say that as someone who’s not even really a fan of ND. Only one explanation: MUSIC SNOBS!
Way back in college a friend was at a bar and got everyone to believe that the line “forever in blue jeans” was “the Reverand Blue Jeans.”
‘scuse me while I kiss this guy.
‘scuse me while I catch this fly.
My sister insisted the line was “Smokin in a lav is cool”
Only because I Liked Brownsville Station way better than Neil.
