When the Electors meet in their respective states’ capitals today to formally cast their ballots for president, something historical will occur.
But I have a question regarding Barack Obama’s place in history: Will he be the second Mob-connected president, or the third?

Off the top of my head, I can think of JFK, who had ties to the Chicago Mob, and who was rumored to only have won election because of a vote fix in that state. Wasn’t there also some kind of mob connection going on between William Jefferson Clinton and the Redneck Mafia?
There was Taft, Hoover and Johnson as well as Jimma’ Carter but I’m not sure he counts. He wasn’t connected to a crimnal -mob. He had a contract put out on him buy the Hare-club against stupid humans (the HCash). Hence the rabid bunny incident.
