Cartoon of the day? Caption contest?

Okay, this isn’t a cartoon. But I would like to see some cartoonist do this. Till then, this will have to do.

Imagine Mitt Romney as Commander-in-Chief. Why, a Russian warship could sneak up on him and he’d never even know it!

  1. It’s cool that we still have people whose job is to recognize ships and planes by their silhouettes and accessories (as referenced in the link).
    My dad said they used flash-cards in WWII, so they wouldn’t accidentally shoot down a Spitfire by mistaking it for a Messerschmidt or something.
    That the guy could not only identify the nationality of the ships, but give a name to each is pretty awesome.
    If it wasn’t for such dedicated experts, we would never know how utterly inept and clueless the DNC really is.
    Well, maybe we would…
