Big Savings

Attorneys for the IRS told a federal court that they have not searched various “other sources” for the missing emails of Lois Lerner.

Can’t blame ’em for that. They’re just trying to save the expense of having to replace more crashed hard drives.

  1. I’ve read others point out: Notice how the IRS spokesmen had no compunction about lying to Congress, which rarely seems to carry any penalties; but when push came to shove in a lawsuit in a courtroom, before a no-nonsense federal judge and the possibility of actual punishments for perjury, suddenly the memories of the technicians and all involved improved dramatically, and the “missing” emails were coincidentally “found” on the eve of testimony.

  2. Maybe we need a new Law Enforcement agency, something like Eliot Ness and the Untouchables, only financed by and answerable to the Governors of the 50 states.
Their job would be to investigate crimes and/or suspicious activity committed by elected officials and bureaucrats of the Federal government.

    Their motto could be:
Qulanam vigilo custodia? Nos opero ass foramen!
