It’s nearly Hallowe’en. Time of ghosts and goblins and … phantoms.
Of course, you may not want to spend an hour and a half watching some old movie right now. Bookmark it and watch it later. For now, though, it’s Sunday Night Open Thread. That’s right. Your turn to share what’s been going on, or what you’d like us to know.
Who wants to start?

My baby sister (she’s in college now, but she’ll always be my baby sister) liked a punk band called “Icon for Hire” a few years back. One of their songs always stuck with me, because it seemed like a rejection of a Social Justice Warrior identity. Do y’all agree with my assesment?
Icon for Hire – Get Well
Ruth Gordon was born October 30, 1896. Here she is in a memorable scene from Harold and Maude. The policeman, billed in the credits as M. Bormann, is actually Tom Skerritt, also one of my favorite actors. The scene is the old Dumbarton Bridge (there is a new one), connecting Menlo Park, California, to Newark, California, just across the San Francisco Bay.
