Also, as usual, the U.N. won’t even stand up to defend itself. They defined the nation of Israel over 50 years ago, and ever since then they’ve refused to recognize and act on the fact that “Palestine” is not a country.
I can’t verify that it was actually the U.N., or that the U.n. existed at that time, but that’s probably because I haven’t checked, because I don’t care enough.
The UN only approved of Israel because the small Jewish country began with socialist ideals. Don’t forget who else supported Israel early on, the Soviet Union. These days, the UN is composed of dictatorships and petty thugs. Can we honestly expect a fair appraisal of Israel from them?
Hmmm…I wonder when the last time was that an AP writer referred to terrorists as “extremists.” They seem to have no problem using that brush on a bunch of Jews trying to hold on to their homes.

These people don’t hate Arabs; don’t hate Muslims…hell, they’ve lived among them for years! I visited the local Islamic Center a few days ago and had a great visit. I’ve spent about a year in Islamic countries and found some of the nicest people. It pains me to say that I believe the root of the hatred of the Joooooos is envy. They took a baren piece of land where nothing would grow and made it work. Now, all of a sudden, they want…NEED it back.

I can’t wait until Israel finally gets pissed off enough to stop f***ing around and taking it up the ass all the time. If they can be surrouned by hosile nations and turn a war with them into a resounding victory in six days, there’s nothing they can’t do.

Funny how the atheist is more sympathetic to the Israeli plight than a lot of christians I know.
I guess I’m just a “glass is half full” idealist, but I keep hoping that Sharon is just getting all of the Jews safely out of Gaza before the fire bombing commences.
based on the lackluster support Sharon’s been getting from the US in the past some years …. I think this is the smartest thing he could possibly do.
He’s doing what all the appeasers and one worlders have been asking for …. just a whole lot faster than they wanted.
Now, when the “arab street” continues its relentless move ot exterminate all jews and/or non-arabs in the mid-east … Sharon can point out to the weasels that he did everything he possibly could … and now it’s time to stop the terrorists. Maybe then Bush will admit the wall is a good idea and support anti-terrorism efforts in and around Isreal.
