Now that Obama inflated a death toll from 12 to 10,000 (that’s like a Hillary Clinton futures investment type increase), I’d take his statement on how much money he’s raised with a grain of salt.
So, let’s all play psychologist! Why would he accidentally inflate a death toll? Would it be because he was hoping for a higher death toll to better make his point? One thing I’ve learned from the past years with the craziness about information about Katrina and the constant troop death “milestones” in Iraq and all the insane numbers on civilians killed there, Democrats seem to get a hard on for high death tolls.
Well, there were 10,000 deaths, but only 12 caused by the tornado.
The other 9,988? Suggestion: Don’t cut in front of Fred Thompson on any major highway.
Liberals do tend to overestimate exponentially. Don’t forget how many women and children Kerry saw his buddies massacre in ‘Nam. Or how many voters were disenfranchised in Florida. Or when we were supposed to run out of oil. Or when the polar ice caps will melt.
As there were only 1300 to 1600 citizens of the town of Greensburg it is interesting that Osama-bama managed to misspeak so badly.
Of course if he had been paying attention he would have know that. He wasn’t paying attention to the disaster he was paying attention to the polls, and the lobbyists, the next speech he was going to make (what new promises to what special interest group he was going to make) and the back room policy makers. Just what need another president more interested in the power of the office, than he is in doing the actual job of keeping us safe and secure.
Like police, fire, military, doctors and nurses politicians are supposed to be servants of their constituents/patients/ citizenry. Unfortunately those who are being served have given up their rights and become instead the servants of those whose job it should be to serve us. We have no one to blame but ourselves.

Speaking of death tolls, how come I’m not hearing the number of terrorists obliterated daily? We should be getting hourly updates on CNN with video.
