There’s still “nothing funny” about Obama, of course, but Joe Biden has just been green-lit for left-wing comedians to pummel like a speedbag.
All the comedians are looking for a Romney win. They can’t or won’t make fun of Obama and they’re tired of carrying water for someone who’s so inept it isn’t even funny.
I like Jay Leno. I know he is actually a lefty, but I don’t think he is too far left of center. He keeps his cards pretty close to his vest as far his personal politics. However, when it comes to monologues, I would consider him an equal-opportunity abuser. He’ll rip on Obama or Biden then, in the next sentence, rip on Romney or Ryan. He’s also not mean about it, for whatever that’s worth.
