I can’t imagine having the guts to do that “spin it edgewise” bit. I’d be too terrified of dropping it and having the corner of the table knock my front 8 teeth out.
By the way, I had zero luck in Googling any solid biographical information on these two (other than the names Regina and Yvonne). If you can find anything, drop a link.
Apparently foot juggling was a thing for a while; looking around I see acts by the name of Gloria Stibal and (more recently) Stanislav Vysotskyi. It looks like they played the Corn Palace in 1960 as Trio Baranton, so perhaps there was a brother who got out of it. I would guess that foot juggling is a young person’s sport.
Don’t remember them doing USO tours. But I never got to see any , so there is that.

According to Neatorama, the Barantons were a French circus family, there is a video of the trio performing in 1958. The next generation was still at it in 2009 (link to performance by Eliane Baranton).
