Heart’s Dreamboat Annie album is one of my all-time favorites.
What’s something you like? Doesn’t have to be a song or an album or a flavor or a movie or anything in particular. Or, it doesn’t have to even be something you like. You see, it’s Saturday Night Open Thread, and you talk about whatever you want to talk about.
What’s on your mind?

“I like big bots and I cannot lie
All you Little Brothers can’t deny…”
– N.S.A.
“I like to dream
‘Cause DREAMERs can make U.S. mine …”
– Run DNC
“What I like about news —
Scold the right
Tell me I’m the only one
Wanna comb-over tonight? Yeah
“Keep on whispering in my ear
Tell me all the things that I wanna hear
As if it’s true.
That’s what I like about news …”
You haven’t lived until you’ve had deep fried Froot Loops.
“Hello . . . baby!
Yeah, this is the Big Bubba speakin’!
Oh, you Cheat Thing
Do I what?
Will I what?
Oh baby, you know what I’m like:
Champagne on ice and a little vice
And a phony tale
Hangin’ round
And a wiggle in the truth
And a giggle at her youth
Makes the world go ’round-round-round
Ain’t nothing in the world like a Bill-eyed girl
Make me act so funny, make me spin my money
Make me feel real loose, give another goose
To a girl — Ooh baby, that’s a-what I’m like!”
“What’s that, baby?
But . . . but . . . but . . . Oh, Comey!
But, oh baby, you know what I’m like!”
[To accompany the video of Hillary’s 9/11, being tossed into the SUV like a sack of whatever metaphor you prefer:]
She’s drivin’ away with the Dem lights on
She paid to play and thinks she can’t go wrong
She feels she’s waited too long…
She’s winding down her detox machine
And she won’t give up on 2017 . . .
She’s a frozen fire. . . She had one desire. . . .
I don’t want to hold her. She’s down!
Don’t want to break her crown.
When she says, “Let’s go.”
I like Deny Life, baby.”
She says, “I like Deny Life, baby.”
She says: “Let’s go.”
The leaves have been changing the last couple weeks here in the Boston area. Such a beautiful time of the year. However, working nights 12 hours a day 7 days a week does not allow me time to see the sights pertaining to early US history. Last project I was on was in Philly. Did not get a chance to sight see anything there either.
Hey c64wood, there’s a song about your dilemma. Enjoy………………..

Thanks! One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite albums from my favorite band!
It’s not The Beatles, but not a bad cover.
Glad it pepped ya up a bit.
I like the novels and stories of P. G. Wodehouse, particularly those involving Blandings Castle, and, as it happens, P. G. Wodehouse was born October 15, 1881. What ho!
Did you know the Blandings stories were adapted for TV by the BBC or someone? There are twelve or more episodes in a series called “Blandings.” Stars Jennifer Saunders of AbFab fame, and a good cast. It may have been on Netflix where I saw it. Does perfect justice to Woodhouse’s text and dialog, as well as the “Wooster and Jeeves” series did.
