  1. This is like “is fire alive?” While it technically meets all the requirements we have chosen to define the term, we can just look at it and know that it ain’t.

The question, like so much our world, is digital; reality is analog. Our perceptions are merely ways to impose our ability to comprehend things on a universe that doesn’t give two figs about what our mental limitations. Fire is not alive, hot dogs are not sandwiches, and Epstein didn’t kill himself.

  2. From Merriam-Webster dictionary:

a : two or more slices of bread or a split roll having a filling in between
b : one slice of bread covered with food

So yes, a hot dog is a sandwich.

  3. Any item wedged between a bread like substance qualifies as a sammich. Gyro, Open Face, Quesadilla, and Shwarma are all variations of a sammich, Donnerkabob is not a sammich, but is good greasy grub to soak up a hangover with.
YMMV, but that is my opinion

  4. I don’t care what you call it, but can you at least spell it correctly?

The synonym for a hot dog is a w-i-e-n-e-r, NOT a w-e-i-n-e-r, which happens to be a proper name. Yes – Anthony pronounces it incorrectly. Many immigrants’ names were garbled and misspelled when they came to this country but you should know that wieners were so-called because they originated in V-i-e-n-n-a, Austria, which was known in that part of the world as Vien (pronounced W-e-e-n)

Please check your spelling going forward!
