Some Ben Folds I like, some I don’t. This is my favorite of his. He did an album of songs that Nick Hornby wrote the lyrics and Ben the music. If I recall the backstory correctly, Nick has a sick kid, and this is a story about a hospital visit on New Year’s Eve.
This is a song Ben Folds did with the duo called Pomplamoose. Nick Hornby appears in the video. He’s a great writer.
I’ll admit, the girl in the video is damn cute.
The music was… elementary.
It did have a Beatles vibe, though, so I liked that.
But it sounded like a mainstream media commercial.
