[In Defense of The Last Jedi – Movies with Mikey] (Viewer #211,803)
A little scattered swearing, but not too much.
I found his perspective interesting, because with the movie being plagued with a couple handfuls of really stupid dialogue, dumb plot devices, and explosion-proof mortal characters, it’s hard to focus on the larger themes.
They’re there.
And as grubbily nihilistic as a Peckinpah film.
I’m not sure I like those themes, but at least they’re there, so they’ve got a leg up on the prequels.
