What was the worst movie you paid money to see in the theater?
Hard to pick a clear winner, but probably a toss-up between Empire of the Ants and Chopping Mall
Also, when I went to see “All the Marbles“, I was literally the only person in the theater.

Not sure….but the best one was when I sneaked into a drive-in theater when I was a Youngun.
I remember thinking “Hey, it’s got Dustin Hoffman in it — how bad can it be?” and then writhing through every single second of Ishtar.
Never gave that one a chance…must be as bad as Three Kings.
“L.A. Tool & Die.” Its predecessor, “El Paso Wrecking Corp.” had raised my expectations, but “L. A. Tool & Die” was a real let-down. Mom was disappointed in it, too.
Either “Scary Movie” or “Young Frankenstein;” no, definitely “Scary Movie.”
Oops; I saw the much earlier film “Student Bodies” and really was not in the mood for it.
I took a date to see “Hawmps!” (her choice), about camels in the U.S. cavalry. El stinko.
In recent memory: The Last Jedi
“Mad Woman of Chaillot” back in 1970. Went from Idaho Falls to Pocatello with my bride and another couple as a getaway (snerk) and we had only one other person in there. I think we spent most of the time chatting.
I was going to say “Three Kings” but then I remember there was another one but I can’t remember the name.
Either “Monster” or “Summer of Sam.”
Well, I was at this screening of “Batman” in Aurora, . . .
Highlander 2. I still wake up screaming sometimes.
Eegah…had to have been the worst I ever paid to see. Years later I saw it for free on MST3K.
The Last Jedi
“Avatar,” it made a pile and a half of money, was pretty to look at, but was an absolute waste of time and one of the worse movies ever made.
