CNN newsman Miles O’Brien today was involved in a clash of global warming opinions with Senator James Inhofe. During the discussion, Mr. CNN quoted, The Day After Tomorrow scenario, the thriller movie about global warming catastrophe.
We at IMAO are very happy that CNN fully supports the movie industry and those hard working actors who bust their butts for mere thousands per day.
In fact, in addition to the Day After Tomorrow Scenario, CNN has also used other movies as a basis for rational argument.
Herbie was a pivotal movie. It made the world take the threat of SUVs seriously. Not only that, there was an unexpected increase in under age drinking. Hmmm. CNN referred to this as the Herbie Scenario.
No issue is more serious than the separation of church and state. Nowhere was this scenario made more clear than by the movie Harry Potter. This goes to show you what happens when religious extremists invade a school. Before you know it, they are invoking spells everywhere. In many cases, this sounds mysteriously like praying.
Evil has a face. We see this most clearly in the Star Wars Scenario. This tells us that The Force is trying to invade its way into America. Although not clearly identified, CNN was sure that The Force did work that the American Force was unwilling to do, and therefore was a vital part of the American economy.

After his awful performance during the shuttle disaster, I thought CNN would axe him. After his babbling during the X-Prize space launch in 2004, I thought they’d wipe him out.
Nope. Apparently Miles cannot be stopped.
– from those wonderful folks who brought you “Bagdad Bob” and “the Kite Flyers”–
All of those examples are completely plausible. Just remember that the Path to 9/11 is completely based on lies, so don’t try to use it to make any arguments.
Too bad Miles O’Moron didn’t use the “Back to the Future” gambit. I wants me hoverboard and I wants it now, Senator!
Are you sure you want to use the phrase “Busting Butts” in something referring to Hollywood?
They really need to use stuff from “Re-Animator”. I mean, how else do you explain Nancy Pelosi?
Perhaps Miles O’ Brien should use that scene of a frozen New York from The Day After Tomorrow to show what happens if Hillary stares at you. What about having Bill Clinton touring Arkansas in Herpes, the Love Bug? As for the Harry Potter analogy, it actually has contributed to a sharp rise in interest of the occult and witchcraft among youth. I have yet to see a witch fly, but they still burn really good.
There is a reason CNN is #2 and falling. This idiot is just one of them. Jack Cafferty is another.
Time for a reality check on this incident though, implying that a Jerry Bruckheimer movie has a connection to ANYTHING in the real world should be an immediate termination offense. Some of his flicks can be enjoyed in ‘brain disengaged so I can watch a lot of crap blow up’ mode but as serious commentary on anything? Nah.
The question on all our minds is this:
when will there be enough unscrupulous special effects animators to take fake news videos to a new level?
An even better example would be using the immortal “Plan 9 From Outer Space”. Aliens raising the dead would be a perfect example of the Democratic party…not only raising the recently deceased to stuff ballot boxes, but half the time I think most of the Dems are zombies of recently deceased stupid people!
Hey if CNN starts basing their news reports off completely retarded movies, can we get Mike, Joel and the Bots to make funny comments during every newscast?
singing, “liar, liar, liar!”
(that’s an MST3K ref for those in the know)
