The biggest problem you have is Bill Frist and other GOP members recent bizzare support of the Taliban. Frist said asking the Taliban to join the government was a decision to be made by Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Karzai’s spokesmen were not immediately able to be reached for comment.
Sen. Mel Martinez, a Republican from Florida accompanying Frist on his trip, said negotiating with the Taliban was not “out of the question” but that fighters who refused to join the political process would have to be defeated.

Yeah, I blogged about that as soon as the right-wing blogs broke that story. The moonbats were a little slow to the take on that one (because some of them do think we should negotiate with the Taliban).

I see it now. I hadn’t heard about until Frist was on CNN talking about building nice roads for the Taliban. A total reset of all the people in the congress/house/white house is probably be a good idea.
