Justice Scalia uses the awful slur “tequila.” Allahpundit has the details.
It’s macaca all over again, but not as fun to shout over and over.
UPDATE:
Kos has caught on to the outrage. I think it’s pretty obvious neither he nor any of the commenters have read the statement in question.

You know, after all the times I’ve gone to Mexico, I don’t remember ever drinking any tequila.
Although, those weekends are kind of a blur.
But I do remember waking up with some nasty headaches.
Tequila is a Mexican liguor? I thought it was the official weekend binge drinking kickoff shooter of every college campus in America. It’s more of a dare than a cocktail, really.
Next you’ll tell me vodka is, like, Russian or something.
I love the guys that say they drink because they like the taste…ok…then explain Tequila! Small wonder they are fleeing Mexico!
What’s the fuss all about again? Where’s that damn lost shaker of salt?!
Frankj, was this you!
//Misha, …
So is Irish just a prefix that means “contains alcohol” such as in Irish cream, Irish coffee, and Irish man?//
I’m impressed.
How many Irishmen does it take to screw in a light bulb? It depends on how many it takes to hold the ladder and the buckets and whether one of them is sober enough not just to climb the ladder but thread the light bulb.
Lest anyone be mortally offended, I’m 75% Irish and have a God given right t’ make fun of me own.
seanmahair,
I’ve always been proud of that one since I came up with it myself and, after so many years, most of there aren’t many new Irish jokes left to make.
I’m half Irish.
It’s macaca all over again, but not as fun to shout over and over.
I dunno about that, Frank. I’ve seen lots of guys in bars who seem to enjoy shouting “tequila!” repeatedly at the bartender. Not me, though; I stick to beer, because it’s not just for breakfast anymore.
Actually, Irish light bulbs cannot be screwed in. They have a bayonet base like an automotive bulb — push and twist, just like Foley does to . . . nevermind. Vodka was invented by the Polish as a means to oppress the Russians, and it actually worked!
