“Breaking Bad” isn’t the greatest TV show ever. Or maybe it is. I haven’t seen all the TV shows ever, so I’m not really qualified to say. But it was a favorite. Only… have you ever tried to explain it to someone?
And, yes, I’m awaiting the new season of “Better Call Saul.”

Nowadays, whenever I see or hear a mention of BREAKING BAD, I think of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4LhXycJ7rI
Once I was at a smallish dinner party, and one of the people present apparently got the Peter Griffin “Manchurian Candidtate” treatment: she brought the party to a dead halt by launching into a monologue about how great BREAKING BAD was and how we should go home and binge-watch the show and consider ourselves unfortunate if we hadn’t seen the show and were idiots if we didn’t become devoted fans, as she obviously was. It was like being at a gathering where someone asks, “Have you heard the good news about Jesus?”
“Have you heard the good news about Jesus?”
He finally got his Green Card?
Breaking Bad is my favorite TV show. So by any reasonable standard, it is the greatest TV show ever.
Breaking Bad was great, but I’ve got to give it to “The Wire”.
Dovetails perfectly with Bilwick’s “Family Guy” clip linked above.
