That’s not a real electronic device. A real electronic device with a rectangular grid of blank buttons has a few of them lit up at any time.
If this was an animated picture, we’d see the pattern of lit buttons changing once per second or so, too. Of course, there’d also be a lot of grainy static, since all computer videos have that problem.
