I have some words for Obama:
No, Obama. You do not fly your plane in low over New York because you want a nice photo. That is a bad president. You scared lots of people and that is wrong. No no.
So do you think Obama signed off on the whole thing or did his staff not hear his objection because he once again had a bucket stuck on his head? And it’s funny he’s been doing all this stuff against “torture” and then starts doing psych-ops on his won people.
Well, anyway, I wonder when we get to see the photos?

This whole fly-over NYC debacle is emblematic of this administration. They have absolutely no consideration their impact on peoples’ lives with their pursuit of wasteful self-aggrandizement all aimed at getting reelected. How many people were scared to death by this senseless photo-op? How many will actually die so that Obama can strike a pose as “the great health care reformer”?

It’s been bugging me since yesterday: Why the heck did he need this “photo op” anyway? What would be the point of having the plane do a fly over? No one thought this might be alarming to New Yorkers??? And how ’bout all the fuel spent? The arrogance of this action is undeniable.

1) Who in the world would think that a picture of Air Force One flying low over New York City would be something useful to have? Of what possible benefit could such a picture be to anyone?
2) The White House Military Liaison does not arrange a flight of AF1 without at least Rahm Emanuel’s approval, and more likely Obama’s, too. In particular, he would not have initiated the project.
3) He hasn’t been fired yet.
That means the order came from above, and he was just, you know, the liaison.

so they took great pics of the 747 and the fighter jet and the statue of liberty – and no one would even dream of showing them. No doubt Obama ordered the photos destroyed immediately.

Going to go out on a limb here and say the 2012 Democrat Convention. This was done for a campaign to show New York still exists after four years of this weak fool.
Next AF1 will fly low over the Pentagon and then over a field in Pennsylvania to complete the narcissist trifecta.

#11 – By the time the 2012 Dem Convention rolls around, that photo will be part of a memorial so they can remember what NY looked like before the ineptness of Jug Ears turned it into radioactive cinders.
I have mixed emotions on that one. For one, it’s New York, so small loss. However, a lot of Really Big companies have offices there, and we’ll miss the businesses. Man am I conflicted.
I guess the NYers are just now realizing that what they got wasn’t exactly what was advertised on the package.

I wanna know what the truthers are gonna do with this. If O had done the smart thing and just Photoshopped (or, even smarterer, GIMPed) the plane into a picture of the skyline, it would have been proof that 9/11 never actually happened and the planes were all digitally added to our eyes and the towers never actually collapsed and are just hidden behind an elaborate system of mirrors, so what does it mean that they didn’t do that? Does the fact that they apparently anticipated that that would happen and then didn’t do it prove the truthers right?
That paragraph makes sense to conspiracy theorists.

#22, no to the 911 truthers, Obama was just proving that Bush made clones of himself. This is the answer they’ve been waiting for. It wasn’t hijackers flying airliners into the buildings, it was four clones of Bush fling old Air Force Ones into the buildings. This makes sense, since it was Bush and Cheney themselves that rode jet skies out plant bombs on the levies protecting New Orleans. In fact, it probably wasn’t Obama that ordered the photo op. Since Bush left office, he now lives underground at Area 51, and this was just a test run to put the improved swine flu into Chemtrails, and next week, he’s going to spray it all over New York and major cities in blue states. It’s all an evil Republican plot to undermine The Messiah’s sincere efforts to make the world a paradise. I just haven’t figured out how they’re going to work Sarah Palin into all of this.

1st off, if you were here on September 11th, and saw what we saw, and knew people who died in the Towers, you would not be so fast to smirk. Also, a lot of people working downtown don’t even live in NY, but come from NJ, PA and CT, so your remark about New Yorkers is silly. Also, there are still conservatives residing in this infestation, due to a myriad of reasons, and they do a lot of good work here. In addition, Milhouse Hussein O’bomb-ba is pictured attached to my moniker flying the plane yesterday. He is wearing makeup, naturally, to disguise himself, but we all know the real culprit who caused the evacuation of thousands. Finally, he wanted these photos for his campaign and his website, that is why it was a secret. That is why the FAA was instructed to tell the NYPD to keep it quiet. And by the way, since the 911 operators were alerted, I have trouble believing Mayor Bloomberg did not know. Oh and Milhouse uses Airforce One ($40,000 hourly of taxpayer money) to fly in his favorite pizza. So since that somehow got out in the news, he wanted to keep this stunt for more precious O’Bomb-ba photos quiet.
