don’t ask for whom the bell tolls . . .

You just came to Texas Tech University as a freshman…and you get the opportunity to make it big time as the football team’s “BELL RINGER” during their games… Your whole family, all of your friends, and about 10-15 million ESPN viewers will see you on a Saturday telecast ringing the team’s bell….
But to your whole family, all of your friends, and about
10-15 million ESPN viewers, you DO NOT appear to be ringing the team’s bell…

  1. Okay, this is funny, but isn’t it also a little random? My alma mater played Navy a year and half ago. Also that probably isn’t a freshmen, ringing the bell for the Saddle Tramps is a big deal for saddle tramp people.

  2. I understand that the TCU fans are upset about the desecration of their bell, but one can’t really blame the fellow. After all, who amongst us hasn’t been caught in flagrante delicto with an historically significant object on nationally telly?
It’s one of the reasons that I am now unwelcome on the “Antiques Road Show”.

  3. Being a Texas A&M student I can tell you that the original video IS disturbing but whats even funnier is to think that their mascot rode his horse into a wall and killed it at another game. Yes Techies, you are the weakest link.

  4. “I’m guessing the sound was somewhere between a ding and a dong?
