This is similar to the Dave Chappele skit, with the line “I’m Rick James, b****!”, except that the last word is completely unnecessary. Mr. Thompson has yet to meet someone who is not, in comparison, a little b****.
// I’m not sure Fred Thompson even needs to dignify a Chris Matthews question with ANY answer…
Chris Matthews would spontaneously combust in the presence of Fred Thompson
Fred! wins any debate. Even ones He isn’t in.
Peggy Noonan’s opening paragraph sums it nicely.
“They stood earnestly in a row, combed, primped and prepped, as Nancy Reagan gazed up at them with courteous interest. But behind the hopeful candidates, a dwarfing shadow loomed, a shadow almost palpable in its power to remind Republicans of the days when men were men and the party was united. His power is only increased by his absence. But enough about Fred Thompson.”
Looks like other opinion makers are starting to aggre with you Frank.
I was talking to my high school theatre teacher today (who is a conservative, which seems to be a rarity among theatre people) and he says that he’s met Fred Thompson before. Obviously, he meant to say that he met Fred Thompson’s body double, because no one who has met Fred Thompson has lived to tell about it.
Never has more truth been included into one sentence Frank.

And in the same way, all of the Democrat candidates lost their debate because they weren’t Fred Thompson.
Chris Matthews should be glad Fred Thompson does not turn his ire upon him.

Wow, this was a great one, Frank.
