Coming soon from liberals: “You know how we said Bush was the worst thing ever ever? RICK PERRY IS WORSER!!”
To liberals, its always the conservatives of the past who were the good ones, which doesn’t seem very progressive.
I think by now most people know when a Democrat accuses someone of racism, it’s baseless slander 99% of the time.
I wrote 99% to save space. Add a decimal and a more nines to taste.

Random thought:
Rick Perry just got the crucial “KISS” endorsement from Gene Simmons. Race is over folks. Y’all can go on home.
Must be Wednesday.
I’ve already seen “progressives” accuse Rick Perry of practicing something called “Dominion Theology”, which apparently is some kind of Christian kissing cousin to Sharia and will poison/destroy both Christianity and America. Bush was infected (of course!) but Perry is waaaay worse! (Bachmann is also a practitioner, hence the crazy eyes.)
Me being the greedy capitalist I am though, my first question on hearing this scare-tactic was “so, can a dominion theologian balance a budget without raising taxes?”
If Obama goes around telling everyone that electing Rick Perry will be the same as having George W. Bush back then Perry won’t even have to campaign.
Cat ate the truth tuna again.

I assume Ed the pastor could explain it better, but dominion theology is the interpretation that the church will gradually bring about Christ’s rule on earth. It is probably how Kennedy saw things.
It contrasts with a more apocalyptic view, where there will be a great tribulation and a dramatic confrontation with evil, followed/preceded by the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I think either way you go is fine for a president and would make a refreshing change from the liberation theology (Marxism dress up in fake christian terms) that the current president has been exposed to.
I subscribe to Domino Theology. Events precipitate other events which precipitate others…etc…until the “FINAL EVENT” that ends all reality.
Then God sets it all up again in an even COOLER design and knocks over the first domino.
@FormerHostage, I thought the domino theory was 30 minutes or less.
Cat doesn’t call Dominoes since they don’t offer tuna.
Rick Perry would be a better candidate if he had nicer hair.
Racists!

hwuu-good nutshell version of Dominion theology. Totally against traditional biblical interpretation. Well intentioned but the road to hell is paved with such. Liberation theology is a “Go directly to Hell, Do not pass Go, Do not collect $200” biblical interpretation which has some semantical difficulties steming from using the Communist Manifesto instead of the the Bible as a basis.
