Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D IL-9 |
I know. Some of you get up in the morning, dress, grab a quick bite or maybe a cup of coffee, and head to work.
Or, perhaps, you work odd hours. Sometimes long days.
Maybe you work a second job to help make ends meet.
I’ve done all of those things. Perhaps you have too, or still are.
But, whatever the circumstances, you work to earn your pay.
Only, you don’t deserve it. Really. Check with Jan Schakowsky, the Democrat who represents Illinois’ 9th district, who was speaking on WLS Radio:
I’ll put it this way. You don’t deserve to keep all of it and it’s not a question of deserving because what government is, is those things that we decide to do together.
Now, don’t you feel ashamed of yourself? Thinking that the money you earned is yours. Or that you deserve it.
Thank goodness we have Democrats to set us straight.
“…what government is, is those things that we decide to do together.”
…and who, exactly, are the “we” that are deciding what it is that I supposedly want to do “together”?
“Everything for everyone and nothing for ourselves!”
That’s probably what Jefferson meant when he said “To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.”
No?
The ‘have nots,’ Son of Bob. The 52.7% The great masses.
I.E., the idiots who can’t make it.
But they’ll die, John.
In the same interview Shakowsky threw in this howler:
Because, you know, those 500 plus plane loads of arms and ammo that Nixon airlifted into Israel during the Yom Kippur War ain’t jack-squat compared to everything Obama has done for them.
DamnCat, there is no comparison between 500 C5 loads of military aid and, let’s say, a basket of arugula and letting the Prime Minister access the White House though the garbage chute.C’mon, Let’as get real.
Schakowsky , not to be funny for a moment, displays what is wrong the democrats. Te arrogance is amazing.
Her husband is an interesting character too………….. http://rogersparkbench.blogspot.com/2009/08/convicted-felon-attacks-opponents-of.html
Sometimes, it seems that something is so stupid that there’s very little funny to add to it, or at least I am unqualified to hit that depth.
Isn’t that Rep. Debbie Stabenow behind Schakowsky? If it is, you might have to cut Rep. Schakowsky just a tiny bit of slack. Stabenow is so vacuous that she could suck all the intelligence out of a room full of rocket scientists.
No sign of marcomancuso. I guess he saw the cover of the Sept. 19 issue of the Marine Corps Times, with the ghey marine cover, and got ill. It made me ill.
Robert Creamer, the husband of Congcritter. Jan Schakowsky, (D-IL), was sentenced to five months in prison and 11 months house arrest for his role in a 1990s check-kiting scheme while he was the head of defunct Illinois Public Action Council, a consumer advocacy group. Today he is a convicted felon…..I guess he didn’t deserve to keep all his money either.
I have no problem with “is those things that we decide to do together” as long as the 2012 congress is composed of conservatives and Obama is gone. It will be like “What do we want to do together?” Answer “Nuttin, Nada, Zilch, Naught. Diddly squat. Zip, Zero”
Since “what government is, is those things that we decide to do together” I don’t get what Shakowski is complaining about. Since “we” all set the current tax rates together, they must be correct. Why does she not want to abide by what “we” have all agreed to do?
Notice how she’s holding her hand? Is this the way a libtard congress critter gives the undeserving wage earner who doesn’t deserve to keep his money the finger? Not only do you get the usual middle finger you also get an additional bonas….a forefinger and thumb.
Hummmmmm! Is bonas spelled with one ‘s’ or two?
*bonus
Bonas is what Nicole Richie has.
ok let’s decide to do something together…like boot them out of office. No that’s not enough. Together we will decide to send them out of the country. No not quite right. I know, together we will decide to fire all libturds from the MexiCannon into France. That’s it! I love dececiding to do things together, it spreads the blame around, I mean redistributes the blame.
oh yeah definitly not thinking WWJD today. Frank forgive me for I have sinned.
@EdthePastor – The Great Landlord seems to taking a hiatus. I recommend you be naughty while you can.
Now that I think of it we haven’t seen MarkoMancuso for a while either. Those two are up to something – I’d bet my awesome new cardboard box from Amazon on it!
Like the typical democrat, this woman can enter a room full of water-heads and cut the IQ in half.
Why do all demonic women look like that? Maybe that is why they are always angry and hateful, and stupid.
Talk about someone jealous of nancy, this woman is wanting the stupidest person on earth award.
You know you are a pathetic babboon, when even someone as sleazy and stupid as harry reid shakes their head in disbelief.
Has she been taking crazy lessons from uberhooch?
This is what you look like after 24 hours of listening to algore lie about global warming.
I”m sure Karl Marx is doing the Happy Dance in his grave.
Ugh!!! Sigh!!! For the first time in my life I’m ashamed of my country!!!
EdthePastor- How about using the Mexicannon to fling then into outerspace instead of France? I bow to know one in my willingness to mock the cheese eating surrender monkeys, but do even the French deserve a sudden influx of American Libturds? I say no.
As a resident of Illinois, it’s disheartening to see what’s become of my State. The likes of Obama, Durbin, and Schakowsky, who are elected to high public office, while demonstrating utter disregard– no make that a hostile contempt– for the Constitution.
Rep. Schakowsky, you have no authority, nor the slightest clue what anyone “deserves”. In this representative-democracy, the power to govern is granted with limits by the governed– not the other way around. The absolute arrogance in attempting to tell the governed what they deserve”

Rep. Schakowsky, you have no authority, nor the slightest clue what anyone “deserves”. In this representative-democracy, the power to govern is granted with limits by the governed– not the other way around. The absolute arrogance in attempting to tell the governed what they do or do not “deserve” to keep from the fruits of their labors would have the Founders reaching for their muskets.
Why do the phrases “Tree of Liberty” and “Blood of Tyrants” keep popping into my mind lately?
…and “musket to the junk”.
Sorry for the double-post. Maybe I’m just that angry.
All you can say to the arrogance of Democrats and Lefties in general is WOW!
Demoncrats?
As usual, the Democrat gets it bass-ackward. People cannot collectively decide what to do with “their” money if they are not entitled to it in the first place. The whole concept of government by consent of the governed means that we have that opportunity for consent (or not). It doesn’t mean that because some group of misguided (or misled) citizens at some time agreed to a certain tax rate, citizens are forevermore “undeserving” of any higher return on their hard work, or incapable of challenging the status quo. We can revisit the issue at any time – say, for instance, by throwing the Democrats out of office and replacing them with Tea Party candidates. We not only deserve that right, we were endowed by our Creator with that right, you ignorant b*tch. (I guess I’m just that angry too, Maverick.) It is hard to be funny in the face of such self-righteous douche-baggery. Gah, I need to go slap something.
Know what. I’ve been laid off long enough now to collect unemployment. I have applied for at least 5 jobs a week. A full time job would net me twice what I’m receiving on unemployment. A part time job would net me less by about 1/3 and then there’s the cost of getting there (gas) and we only now have one working vehicle so that’s another issue.
I would like to get a job. I’d like to be hired full time. But I’m older, white, and conservative. Apparently that’s trumped by young, lazy and irritated at least in the places I shop and do business. It’s a conundrum.
“Deserve?” Ugh. So they can fritter it away? Right.
You know, my objection isn’t that I’m overtaxed -it’s that I’m not getting my money’s worth.
I saw Mel Gibson’s “The Patriot” for the umpteenth time a few weeks ago. The best line in the whole movie, imo, (and I paraphrase) is when Mel’s character is arguing against war with the British. He says, “Why should I trade one tyrant 3,000 miles away for 3,000 tyrants one mile away. An elected legislature can take away a man’s rights just as easily as any monarch.” This dimwit lady does not understand phrases like “tyranny of the majority” or the real point behind “rights of the individual” that the Constitution sought to protect.
Dumbass!

But they’ll die, John.
Where is the downside?
Don’t we have a population problem?
Overcrowded schools?
Lack of jobs?
Too many libtards.
Schakowsky simply wanted to have her turn at being my least favorite woman in the world. She felt that Pelosi had held the crown too long.
RAML:
Bones: “But they’ll die, Jim.”
Kirk: “Then let them die!”
I was being sarcastic with the “But they’ll die, John” to John’s comment. So, yes, I completely agree with SOB, John and… Jefferson.
Only one downside, RAML. If we go bankrupt by the shear size of our “safety net” (which we are), then we all lose.
I prefer to help only the people I value. And the government ought have no say in that.
I’m reporting you guys to AttackWatch for the use of “dumbass” and “libtards”. Then I’m taking my ball and going home. I’d take my money, too but I can’t. Apparently I need Congress to tell me what to do with it.
Of course, while Congress is telling us what to do with money, I’ve got a few suggestions for what Congress can do with a few inanimate objects myself….
Sorry CtheP but right now AttackWatch is on high Def-Con One Red Alert! All agents are preparing for a massive two A.M. raid on the home of the arch thought criminal and current public enemy number one….James Carvel. He and his whole family have been marked for elimination…they can run but they can’t hide. Get back to us next week and we’ll try to look into your complaint. Until then…stay vigilant and trust no one.
Carolyn – I think we have ratted out ourselves, our neighbors, our pets etc. to AttackWatch. I’m guessing they have around 500 million “leads” to follow up on! Wonder how many lead investigators they have… BWAAAAAAAAAAA!

I think we may be on the same side of the discussion.
I think the deadweight should be caring for themselves. Any assistance should be coming from individuals and/or religious outlets.
Perhaps hwuu but bonass is what the taxpayers have.
#32 – Seanmahair,
Look on the bright side.
You’re set for the next 99 weeks.
or about 67.5 weeks at least – 9/17/2011 to 1/20/2013.
I’ll be praying for you, your family, and your car until then.
