I think that socialists must have invented the Chevrolet Vega. I owned a 1972 Vega (my first car). Like most Vegas, it cracked its engine block. In addition, the windshield leaked, the rear window defogger once turned itself on overnight and drained my battery, and the mechanics at Chevrolet dealerships had no idea how to fix anything (nor, as far as I can tell, did they care). The only good thing about that vehicle was that it taught me how to do mechanical work. Obama’s bail-out of General Motors now makes perfect sense to me. GM is actually a socialist organization.
Once business gets tied into having to please the government they stop remembering how to please the customer since it is no longer an important factor in their ultimate bottom line.
