Was there a typo there? Wasn’t? Lot of great songs on that list. Yeah Bette Midler is on the list but, come on man, as Joe Biden might say if he could remember anything.
Most of it is good stuff. Really shows how diverse popular music was at the time. Unlike the cookie cutter stuff nowadays.
Well, there’s a lot of pap in there. Still, Frankenstein: SMOKIN! And Midnight Train to GA is one of the greatest soul/R&B classics of all time. My $.02, FWIW.
There’s a few good ones there, but most of it is just middle of the road AM dreck.
