I still wear a watch. Analog. Second hand. No date. I wear it when I travel outside the Eastern Time Zone so that I know what time it really is. My phone automatically adjusts to the incorrect time zones the rest of the nation labors under, so I need to remain anchored to reality.
I still have the pocket watch my great grandfather had while fighting the Krauts in WW1. He became a P.O.W. and had to hide it in the only place he could….up his ass. It’s a miracle he made it out alive and was able to pass it down.
I wasn’t considering buying one until I noticed they come with the goldtone case. I mowed 2 lawns to get it.
I don’t know much about computers, but I hear the ones with mainsprings are the most accurate. Especially if they’re unbreakable.
Does anybody really know what time it is?
I don’t know, but it has come today…
And it’s on my side.
$14.95?! Cheaper than that $30 Rolex on the street in Chicago ya got from some guy named Lefty.
