I’m not sure what’s left to say about 9/11. Judging by how we picked a president who was absurd for wartime four years ago, I think we’ve been ready to move on for some time. We still have the ludicrous airport security, but our focus has been economic for a while and we barely even hear about foreign threats in the news anymore. Still, I hope we can spend some time to reflect that the freedoms and advantages we have were not easily gained and are not easily held.
I realize this may not be a popular topic here, but I’m a little more worried by what we’ve lost. Functionally, we don’t have a fourth amendment anymore. Bush’s policy of indefinite detention without charges was worrisome. Obama (who pledged to change all that) formalized it into law. Now he’s gone one more and claimed the right to kill U.S. citizens without the faintest hint of due process.
How do we win a war without a clearly defined enemy or any kind of leader we can negotiate with? And without that, are we functionally living under martial law forever?
We are at war, we have been since Sep. 11, 2001. Our enemies like to hide in the shadows, they use old people, children and women to protect them, to carry out their cowardly acts. Our enemies are anyone who refuses to acknowledge that radical islamist are working to kill this country, even if they have to do it one building at a time. Those who find excuses, those who distract, those who trivialize this fight, foreign or domestic, leaders or followers, Muslim or Christian are our enemies. They seek to make us weaker, to divide us, to enslave us to their religious anti-liberty doctrine or kills us and all we hold dear. Many are evil, most are cowards, all are dangerous.
Today more than ever we need to stand up. We need to show the world, especially our enemies that we will never surrender. We will continue to fight, hand to hand if necessary. We will raise up children who will be strong, who will know our history and who will continue to fight for liberty, prosperity and freedom because with out those God-given rights we are slaves and fit for nothing but slaughter. Unfortunately there will always be those who seek to restrict human beings from achieving greatness for themselves and their countries. There will always be those who ride on the backs of those who produce, who take and never give but here and now we can affirm that we will stand for those principles we hold dear. We will always remember. We will never forget.

To ponder our ingratitude is to weep in shame!
To further delay forgotten vows of recognition,
Joins us to infidels who took our citizens’ lives!

The emotion having been seconded, I treble it, adding that, eleven years gone, we are not any safer at home, and damned sure not in the middle east. Mobs struck today at the consulate in Bengazi, Libya and the US Embassy in Cairo. The flag at the embassy was torn down and replaced with some ugly schmatte and nothing has been done about these invasions onto dedicated US territory.
Truly, this Obama momzer is a capitulator of the 1st Order, not to mention a person rabidly dedicated to the quadrupling-down on the Carter Administration foreign policy.
