This Trump phenomenon is a bit like watching Naked Gun with someone who’s convinced it’s a dramatic thriller.
So a “for Journalists” series (reading grade level: 4) would feature almost all pictures, bigger (less intimidating) fonts, and a capacitor inside the binding with wires leading to each cover that would shock the reader if they don’t agree.
Now if we could get around the limiting factor of them being too stupid to buy them and read them…
I remember Stewart doing well on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Back before he totally lost his mind and required talking points from the White House.
If the current group of canidates can’t handle Trump and his antics then how will they be able to stand up against Hillary? Say what you will about Trump the guy knows media, how to handle them and how to speak without having your audience fall asleep. The value of Trump is he is practice for the General Election.
The other thing that amazes me about Trump is that he will say something stupid and when the media tries to pounce on it he will go “Yep” and then move on. He controls the conversation and narrative. Republicans can learn a lot about that as they just let the media control and spend the rest of thier time either trying to explain what they meant or apologizing.
There are rumors that Howard Shultz is thinking about running on the Democrat side. Now that would be interesting to see.
