I’m not a bird feeder enthusiast so squirrels and I leave each other alone. Looked at another way, squirrels are competing with birds for the available birdseed so maybe birds shouldn’t feel so entitled. On the other hand it’s two groups greedily taking the results of a third party’s labor.
Squirrels; no way! Do you want to have to eat opossum the next time things get bad or do you think you can out compete the coyotes, the foxes, and the feral cats for enough rabbits to eat?
