So here is a story out of Britain: A great grandmother is fined a thousand pounds, given a curfew, and forced to wear an electronic tag after selling a goldfish to a fourteen year old.
I don’t even know where to begin on that. If we keep getting more stories like this out of the UK, though, one of these days we’re going to have to do the merciful thing and smother Britain with a pillow.

I see in the picture with the article that the pet store is also a fishing tackle and bait shop. I think a goldfish should qualify as live bait.
This is what the 2nd amendment keeps at bay. IMO 100 years from now history will show “teh wons” impatience in revolution and pushing us quickly into bankruptcy may be the only thing that saves traditional America by waking it up before it passes the point of no return.
Neither I nor the wife have voted before in our lives in any election but this November we are for every R on the ticket. 2012 only “R”‘s that don’t support Amnesty. 2014 well see when we get there. Hopefully we wont have to vote for any R’s.
shiggz, voting varies a bit depending on your local requirements. Make sure you are registered of course and find out if you need registration card or picture ID with you. Not all ballots will have party affiliation marked so be sure the right names are chosen before you pull the lever or whatever action is needed to finalize the vote. I once almost voted for a LaRouche dingbat by accident. Oh yeah, make sure you know which precinct you are voting in, and the location of your local voting site.
