Well…it’ll beat the remake of “Knute Rocke All American” that is being planned. Starring Alphonso Ribeiro as a “Rockne-like” coach at a “Grambling-like” college; with Dennis Rodman as a “George Gipp-like” character who dies of Hepatitis-C from an inordinate number of body modifications. The “Gipp-like” deathbed speech is said to be especially touching: “Yo, when the li’l Homies ain’t up on tha Strength, ain’t down by law, jes’ tell ’em ta bust some forward pass caps in tha domes of them Roll Tide muthas, jes’ like Shug did Pac, no-whu-aym-sane?”
That and the remake of “Scarface” starring Jonathan Lipniki in his first grown-up role.
