In a speech in Texas, Hillary Clinton called for universal, automatic voter registration.

Since she’s pushing to make exercising your rights mandatory, why not make all law-abiding people buy and carry guns?

  1. The problem with all these “great” ideas on voting is that they attack the problem in bits and pieces and don’t address all the issues and ramifications at once. IF we truly want “Voting” reform, at least at the Federal level then we need a comprehensive package that will address all concerns and which would obviously piss a lot of people off for a variety of reasons. I would propose that as a first step all Federal Elections be conducted and controlled by the Federal government. From that all elections would be held under the same set of rules and expectations. The Federal government would supervise each polling place and the States, if also holding elections that day, could utilize the facilities but using a separate ballot. [Yes costs be damned!] The Federal election would require a photo ID for each voter. I would further have this ID as a separate one to be used only for this purpose. [Yes I know that’s a can of worms, didn’t I say people will be pissed off?] It would be tied to a national database so that once the franchised is exercised once, the person can vote again in that election anywhere else, by any other means. That would mean any absentee ballot received after the person may have voted in person would be discarded and the person would be flagged for investigation for voting irregularities. I would put some kind of residency requirement in there for where your vote will be counted [and what ballot you would see on your screen] but you would be allowed to cast your ballot from wherever your on election day. [Just so long as the government doesn’t design the web portal 🙂 I would create a service with this department [Yes, Damn the costs! We are talking about the fate of the world and trillions of dollars riding on every election we can pay out a few bucks to ensure it.] that would provide at your door service for verifying your eligibility to vote, provide you the photo ID and register you if you can’t be arsed to make it to your local Social Security site or some other Federal agency location to do this on your own. I would also make every off year a time to verify the voting lists, removing those that have been confirmed to die and also checking if people over a certain age are still with us. Obviously it won’t catch 100% of the possible mistakes but we need to tighten this ship up somehow before we start having the entire world eligible to vote in the US. So by all means Hillary, let us talk voting reform!

  2. Obviously, what Obama in a pants suit really wants is automatic “voting”.

Here’s how it should work: If you get ANY form of welfare, you can’t vote, period. If that bothers you, get a JOB.
Not only should you have to have an ID, your fingerprint should be scanned and if it’s found twice, mandatory 10 years minimum in federal prison, no parole. If you don’t like it, oh well, stay home.
The voting age should be 25.
Election day should be on a weekend, not a bleeping Tuesday.
You should have to answer at least 5 questions about US history and current events before you can vote.
If you’re dead, you can’t vote, even in Chicago,
Your tax rate should be set by who you voted for.

As far as candidates go, if you make any knowingly false statements while pandering to stupid people, 20 years minimum in federal prison.
If you currently hold any elected office, you have to resign before you can run for a new one.
If your name is Clinton or Bush, you can’t run for anything, ever.
