Oddly, I never really thought about why they’re called “rational” numbers before. That makes a lot of sense.
Not saying I never knew this, but I’ve been out of high school for a couple years now, and memories fade.
Anyway, I love the simple but elegant proof in this one.
Why are some numbers considered to be irrational numbers and why do they have to be so damn irrational? Are they female or liberals or something?
