Jerome Lester Horwitz was born on October 22, 1903. In 1946, he was forced to retire after a stroke, and he died in 1952 at age 48. He made many laugh during his lifetime, and many more laugh in the years since.
I met Moe, Larry and I think Joe Besser at a Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. circus once. All those kids there and they were really down to earth and were warning kids not to do any of the stunts they did to each other. Good times….
